8) Product Demonstration
Towards the end of the tour, we got a chance to see how McIntosh performs ! & they do kick ass bigtime !
The large speakers (XRT2k) are rough prototypes and are not in production yet, these are similar to the ones displayed at the audio show in China. The frame is made from extruded aluminum which is a completely non-resonant metal. These were played at “heart thumping” levels (over 115 db), and yet they were completely without distortions. |

The tour lasted approx.
2.5 hrs, we all had a great time, and walked out with plenty of souvenirs.

Group Photo at the end of the tour……………
It was very nice for Ron-C to invite two McIntosh Engineers to have lunch with us, John Henkel (Engineer for Home Theatre),
& Ron Evans (Chief Engineer).
I felt very much honored to have sat beside John, and across Ron.
