1) Circuit Boards
Printed Circuit Boards used in McIntosh products are made with
the help of this Insertion Machine.
The machine solders electronic parts onto PCBs with complete precision &
accuracy.
|
||
This employee is feeding PCBs onto the Insertion Machine.
Resistors, Caps, and other electronics are soldered onto the PCB automatically. |
||
This is the back of the INSERTION MACHINE, where resistors &
other electronic parts are fed into it. |
||
When the insertion machine are finished with the PCBs, they are sent to the soldering machine
which runs the board over a tank of liquid solder at temperature of 500 degree, if I hadn't remember incorrectly.
Here, you see an actual board going over liquid solder. |
|
After PCBs come out of the machine,
they are ready for larger components to be hand soldered onto them.
To the left, we have the chief of plant operations
Mr. Dan Graves.
|
This is the area for hand soldering & other intensive technical labor.
Each circuit board is individually tested by Technicians against specification.
