Stereopal Featured System:    Wolfgang Stüve (Hamburg Germany)        Date: Sept 2, 2005

Wolfgang Stuve is an audiophile from Hamburg Germany. He enjoys Opera, Classical, Rock and Sentimental Blues. He not only has an impressive collection of McIntosh gears dating from the 1950s, to current production models, he also maintains a full collection of McIntosh brochures, manuals, and other printed materials.  He has been using McIntosh equipments for 50+ years. The photos I have here are only a small portion of Wolfgang’s collection. The photos you see below are NOT taken from Magazines or websites, they are scanned copies of Wolfgang’s documentation of his personal Hi Fi journey. Some of the photos were takes many years ago and have become discolored.  Wolfgang is sending his complete story on collecting McIntosh equipment to me through the mail, together with newer photos . Once I have it translated from German to English, I will post it here on the website.  Due to our language barrier, I am unable to understand Wolfgang’s description of his system.

System Components:

Too many to list !    Wolfgang has everything !   Details to follow.

Wolfgang has done a lot of research on McIntosh himself.  Here’s a timeline of McIntosh’s history in German.

Wolfgang’s story in German, soon to be translated into English.

Wolfgang maintains an entire collection of McIntosh Brochures & Manuals in chronological order.

This is a 1984 photo of Wolfgang’s equipment.   Only an audiophile would put an open reel tape recorder in the living room
