Michael’s Comments:
General Comments:
“My 6BX7 amps are heavily distorted.
The original design was drawn up by local Tube Guru Silus Wu.
The amp sounded much better 5 years ago before heavy modification was
done to them.
Unfortunately, I lost the original schematic and Silus Wu is no longer
able to bring these back to the original state after his heart attack.
His technician also died of cancer.
To this day, nobody in the industry is as honest as Silus.
I have had other experts worked on these amps, but none of them
were able to bring back the sound from the original design.
My system is only average sounding, but it will outperform every
$ 3000 dollar system out there. “
Neat things about my system:
“My interconnects are real fighter jet cables.
I paid $ 40 bucks for them, and it will smoke any $ 400 dollar cable out
there.”
Future Plans:
“I wish to find the right technician to help me fix this amp.
Good technicians are hard to come by these days.
Right now it is clipping at 60% volume.
There is something definitely wrong with the design and I need a real
tube techy to fix it.”.
