Stereopal Home Visit:   Pevin from Markham  Date: , 2007

When Pevin first told me what components he had, I was not overly enthusiastic.   His system as bi-amped with a Sonic Frontier and a Bryston amp.  I can't say I have heard too many biamped system which I am impressed with.      Initially, I was expecting to hear a very aggressive sounding setup with big heart thumping bass which pounds your chest with every drum beat.   Metallic sounding violins and bitey female vocals.

I was wrong.   Pevin's setup was totally the opposite.

The system was surprisingly smooth, musical, and with excellent spatial separation.   This frequency crossovers  appeared seamless maintaining overall coherence.    There was an overall "presence" which resembled live music.  I was impressed !
